It's finally playoff time for the Bills, and this could be the season they finally reach the Super Bowl. But here's where it gets controversial: While Buffalo has a lot going for it with the absence of Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, and Lamar Jackson in the playoffs, the team still faces significant challenges.

Throughout this season, the Bills have often relied on Josh Allen to carry the team on his back to secure victories. While this approach may work in one or two playoff games, it becomes unsustainable when aiming for four wins to clinch the Super Bowl. Julian Edelman, a former Patriots wide receiver, shares these doubts.

Edelman worries about the Bills' chances of winning against the Jaguars on Sunday. He says, 'I’m honestly scared for the Bills going on the road to play this Jaguars team. This Jaguars team has an excellent defense and a good offense. They are very complementary; they get things done with well-rounded special teams. For the Bills, everything has to go right. They have to jump out to a lead, run the ball well, and Josh Allen has to make a couple of plays.'

The Jaguars, under the leadership of first-year head coach Liam Coen, have turned things around this offseason. Coen praises the Bills' head coach, Sean McDermott, for his success in winning a lot of football games and playoff games. Coen says, 'They’ve won a lot of football games and a lot of playoff games, a lot of big games, and they’re going to look at everything. They’re going to look at everything that we’ve done; they’re going to look at what they do and how to combat those things.'

Despite the Bills' more playoff experience, the Jaguars have been performing like one of the top teams in the NFL over the past couple of months. They recently defeated the Broncos, who are the No. 1 seed in the AFC. If the Jaguars can score 34 points against the Broncos' defense, which is among the best in the NFL, they definitely have a shot at beating the Bills on Sunday.

Buffalo better bring its best because it could be going home early if the Bills start slow. Danny Fisher, a football journalist covering the Buffalo Bills for Heavy.com, highlights the challenges the Bills face in this playoff game.
